Hoya Krohniana ‘Black’ - Starter Hoya - 2" Pot

Hoya Krohniana Black is a beautiful variety that has dainty leaves which grow along lengthy vines. The dark green to nearly black foliage sets this sport apart from the others. Like other Krohniana, they do have more intense coloring when grown under brighter lighting. When in bloom, expect small clusters of fuzzy light pink, almost purple-toned flowers with a bright yellow center. This is an intentionally sunstressed plant. 

Current Krohniana may be more green than plants purchased in the summer as they do require sun-stressing to obtain the black look.

Light Level: Medium to Bright Indirect

Humidity: Medium to High

Water: Allow to dry out. Do not overwater. 

Medium: Well draining, chunky soil.
